Boom in Shield Tunneller

A range of open face tunnellers with options ofsingle or multiple Cutting Booms and Back Hoe arrangements

An range of diameters from 2.2 metres to over 11 metres are available with various cutter boom options allowing various tunnel lining methods to be used.

The cutting boom provides the ability for selective excavation in various strata conditions.

Excavated material is transported form the work face by a conveyor. The conveyor overlap can be designed to allow a train of segments, grout and dirt skips sufficient for one cycle of advance.

Profile Guidance Equipment can be fitted which can be taught manually to cut any desired cutting pattern, but is also pre-programmed with Dosco’s preferred cutting patterns.
