Profile System
Profile Indication Equipment can be fitted to any shield mounted Roadheader booms or rotary back hoes. It can be taught manually to cut any desired cutting pattern, but is also pre-programmed with Dosco’s preferred cutting patterns.
This equipment is extremely useful in controlling over-cutting and ensuring that the cutting head has cut the correct external profile thus avoiding the snagging of the shield cutting edge on any boulders or nibs of rock and keeping the overcut to a minimum.
The Profile Indication System can also be fitted onto any of the Dosco Roadheader range providing indication of Cutting Boom and Gathering Apron position.
